Vivari

Vivari is a seaside village in Argolida, 11 kilometers from the enchanting city of Nafplio, which belongs to the Municipality of Nafplio. The small settlement is considered the most protected port of Argolis since it is a large natural harbor protected by the winds. In the center of Vivari, the visitor will find the church of Prophet Elias, the patron saint of the village celebrating on 19-20 July, and a large traditional feast with local meats, drinks and dancing until the morning. Other churches in the area are also Panagia Lefka with the magnificent view to the Vivari Lagoon, Zoodochos Pigi located in Marathia (about 2 km from the village square) and Agios Nikolaos (on the beach of Kondilli). Vivari is famous for its fish taverns with the delicious appetizers on the seashore and the fresh fish.

LOCATION

Following the main road or a path from Drepano, the visitor will arrive in a quaint fishing village, the most protected harbor of Argolida, known as Vivari.
